Advancing Pediatric Oncology Research: A Lifesaving Opportunity for Every Child with Cancer
Every year in Poland, approximately 1,200 children are diagnosed with malignant tumors. This means that, on average, three children receive a cancer diagnosis every day. The advancement of pediatric oncology offers young patients the chance for earlier diagnosis, more effective treatment, and comprehensive post-treatment care.
Progress in this field of medicine relies on highly qualified specialists, innovative scientific research, and the establishment of a nationwide pediatric cancers database. By appointing Data Administrators at all Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Clinics across the country, this database will facilitate scientific and medical advancements, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
